Why the German cockroach is the hardest roach to kill
Blattella germanica lives its entire life inside your walls, appliances, and voids — behind the refrigerator motor, inside the dishwasher, in the hollow of a cabinet. A single female can lead to hundreds of thousands of offspring in a year, and her egg case (the ootheca) is chemically shielded, so surface sprays never reach the developing nymphs inside.
